New weak cation-exchange membrane adsorbers were prepared via UV-initiated heterogeneous graft copolymerization on Hydrosart® macroporous regenerated cellulose membranes. The dynamic performance was investigated in detail with respect to the pore size and pore size distribution of the base membranes, ion-exchange capacity and architecture of the grafted functional layers as well as binding of target proteins. Main characterization methods were pore analysis (BET and permporometry), titration, analysis of protein binding under static conditions including visualization by confocal laser scanning microscopy and chromatographic analysis of dynamic protein binding and system dispersion. The trade-off between static binding capacity of the membrane adsorber and its permeability has partially been overcome by adapted architecture of the grafted functional layer achieved via the introduction of uncharged moieties as spacers and via stabilization of the binding layer by chemical cross-linking. The resulting membranes show only negligible effects of flow rate on dynamic binding capacity. There is no considerable size exclusion effect for large proteins due to mesh size of functional cross-linked layers. Investigation of system dispersion based on breakthrough curves confirms that the adapted grafted layer architecture has drastically reduced the contribution of the membrane to total system dispersion. The optimum pore structure of base membranes in combination with the best suited architecture of functional layers was identified in this study.  相似文献

In a regression analysis, it is assumed that the observations come from a single class in a data cluster and the simple functional relationship between the dependent and independent variables can be expressed using the general model; Y=f(X)+ε. However; a data cluster may consist of a combination of observations that have different distributions that are derived from different clusters. When faced with issues of estimating a regression model for fuzzy inputs that have been derived from different distributions, this regression model has been termed the ‘switching regression model’ and it is expressed with . There are methods that suggest the class numbers of independent variables heuristically. Alternatively, in defining the optimal class number of independent variables, the use of suggested validity criterion for fuzzy clustering has been aimed. In the case that independent variables have an exponential distribution, an algorithm has been suggested for defining the unknown parameter of the switching regression model and for obtaining the estimated values after obtaining an optimal membership function, which is suitable for exponential distribution.  相似文献

In this study a Shewhart type control chart namely the V t chart, is proposed for improved monitoring of the process variability of a quality characteristic of interest Y. The proposed control chart is based on the ratio type estimator of the variance using a single auxiliary variable X. It is assumed that (Y, X) follows a bivariate normal distribution. The design structure of the V t chart is developed for Phase-I quality control and its comparison is made with those of the S 2 chart (a well-known Shewhart control chart) and the V r chart (a Shewhart type control chart proposed by Riaz (Comput Stat, 2008a) used for the same purpose. It is observed that the proposed V t chart outperforms the S 2 and V r charts, in terms of discriminatory power, for detecting moderate to large shifts in the process variability. It is observed that the performance of the V t chart keeps improving with an increase in |ρ yx | , where ρ yx is the correlation between Y and X.  相似文献

Nöther’s theorem of algebraic curves plays an important role in classical algebraic geometry. As the zero set of a bivariate spline, the piecewise algebraic curve is a generalization of the classical algebraic curve. Nöther-type theorem of piecewise algebraic curves is very important to construct the Lagrange interpolation sets for bivariate spline spaces. In this paper, using the characteristics of quasi-cross-cut partition, properties of bivariate splines and results in algebraic geometry, the Nöther-type theorem of piecewise algebraic curves on the quasi-cross-cut is presented.  相似文献

We present a construction of expander graphs obtained from Cayley graphs of narrow ray class groups, whose eigenvalue bounds follow from the Generalized Riemann Hypothesis. Our result implies that the Cayley graph of (Z/qZ) with respect to small prime generators is an expander. As another application, we show that the graph of small prime degree isogenies between ordinary elliptic curves achieves nonnegligible eigenvalue separation, and explain the relationship between the expansion properties of these graphs and the security of the elliptic curve discrete logarithm problem.

Let K be a number field with ring of integers OK. Suppose a finite group G acts numerically tamely on a regular scheme X over OK. One can then define a de Rham invariant class in the class group Cl(OK[G]), which is a refined Euler characteristic of the de Rham complex of X. Our results concern the classification of numerically tame actions and the de Rham invariant classes. We first describe how all Galois étale G-covers of a K-variety may be built up from finite Galois extensions of K and from geometric covers. When X is a curve of positive genus, we show that a given étale action of G on X extends to a numerically tame action on a regular model if and only if this is possible on the minimal model. Finally, we characterize the classes in Cl(OK[G]) which are realizable as the de Rham invariants for minimal models of elliptic curves when G has prime order.  相似文献

We study dynamics of two coupled periodically driven oscillators. The internal motion is separated off exactly to yield a nonlinear fourth-order equation describing inner dynamics. Periodic steady-state solutions of the fourth-order equation are determined within the Krylov–Bogoliubov–Mitropolsky approach and we compute the corresponding amplitude profiles.Metamorphoses of these amplitude curves induced by changes of control parameters as well as the corresponding changes of dynamics are studied within the framework of theory of differential properties of algebraic curves. The major finding is that there is a very rich dynamics in neighborhoods of degenerate singular points.  相似文献
